Trust & Transparency
Every story has a source. We tell you what we know, what's local legend, and what people remember.
WayWhisper uses a dual-axis trust model. Every piece of content is categorized by its source type — not its quality. A local legend is not "less reliable" than a verified fact — it's a different kind of truth.
Content Categories
"The Chain Bridge was designed by William Tierney Clark and opened in 1849."
"The ruin bar movement began when Szimpla Kert opened in an abandoned building in 2002."
"Locals say the best lángos in town is from the stand at the back of the Central Market."
"Legend says touching the belly of the Little Princess statue on the Danube railing brings good luck."
"My grandmother used to bring me here for pastries every Sunday after church."
"Visit the Széchenyi Baths after 6 PM — fewer tourists and the lit pools are magical."
Dual-Axis Scoring
Factuality Index
How well-sourced is this content? Based on source quality: primary documents, academic references, reputable news, or community knowledge. Displayed as filled dots (0-3).
Cultural Richness Index
How unique and engaging is this content? A legend might score low on factuality but high on cultural richness — and that's valuable. Stories that make you see a place differently score highest.
