What is WayWhisper?
WayWhisper is a proximity-triggered audio narration app for cities. Walk near a place, and your phone plays a short story about it — automatically, based on GPS, with no typing or screen time required. It works as a Progressive Web App: no download, no account needed to start, and it works offline.
The app launched in open beta in April 2026 and covers thousands of narrated places across multiple European cities, with the catalogue expanding every week. Every story is tagged with a trust category — Verified Fact, Local Legend, Insider Tip — so listeners always know what kind of truth they are hearing.
