Böre-vár, also known as Bere-vár or Börevár, is an Árpád-era hillfort whose earth-and-timber works still shape the landscape near Ságvár. You find it on a steep mountaintop that is now grown over with forest, on the northern spur of the Szent László-hill, called Börevárhegy. The fort is laid out in two parts, covering about 150 m × 57 m—roughly 0.67 hectares—while the combined area of the two plateau sections is about 0.05 hectares. South of the fort, a narrow ridge continues, and it was cut at two points by crossing ditches: one is 18 m wide and 5 m deep, the other 25 m wide and 7 m deep.
